Chinese team managed a easy win over Chinese Taipei by 3-1 in their first match on the 2007 Asian men's volleyball Championship in Jakarta on Monday.
Middle blocker Yu Dawei scored 15 points and five blocks to lead China team to the 25-15, 20-25, 25-18 and 25-21 win over the Chinese Taipei team. Shen Qiong had 14 points and Fang Yingchao 12.
Wang Ming-Chun lead the Chinese team with 19 points and Hung Jung-Chung had 13.
The Chinese Taipei team tried to beat Chinese team by their speedy attack and firm defense, but they could only do it in the second set while Chinese team made too many unforced errors.
After tied 1-1, Chinese team dominated the match as their attacks were unstoppable for the Chinese Taipei to claim the next two sets 25-18 and 25-21.
