National soccer teams from Puerto Rico, the Cayman Islands, The Bermuda Islands and Cuba will on Sunday start playing in Group C of the Caribbean qualifying rounds for the Olympic Games.

Puerto Rico and the Cayman Islands will play first followed by the match between the Bermuda Islands and Cuba. Elimination games for the North America, Central America and Caribbean Federation (Concacaf) will run until Thursday. The winner will go through to the next phase. The Cuban team, managed by Raul Gonzalez, is considered a favorite.

The Concacaf pre-Olympic competition has two phases. The first phase pits six groups of four teams against each other, for a place in the second phase.

Trinidad and Tobago, winner of Group A, and the Bahamas, winner of Group F, are already through to the next round.
