After the recent two consecutive away victories over women's World Cup hosts China, Australia seemed to be getting more confidence and forward Caitlin Munoz even considered the Matildas as the toughest within Group C.
"Norway is very tough, Ghana is good and unpredictable, the Canadians are very physical, but I think we are the toughest," Munoz told Xinhua on Monday.
The 24-year-old striker said the two wins over China during their tune-up for the women's soccer showpiece tournament just boosted the team's morale and confidence greatly.
"Definitely that has given us much confidence, and we found something that we lacked in the past. We had the mentality and courage to beat them before 50,000 spectators. That's really great."
