Following is the factfile of the women's World Cup Group B match between DPR Korea and Nigeria on Friday:
This will be the teams' third FIFA Women's World Cup head-to-head. In their two previous encounters, DPR Korea and Nigeria won one match each. In 1999, Nigeria won 2-1, and in 2003, the Asians won 3-0.
DPR Korea were the first Asian team to win a FIFA women's event (Under-20 women's World Championship in 2006)
Nigeria have represented Africa in the vast majority of FIFA women's events. They qualified for all four previous World Cups as well as for two Olympic Games women's football tournaments and three U20 women's World Championships. Nigeria only missed out on the 1996 Olympics.
