The Zimbabwe Special Olympic Games team on Sunday got down to a little bit of serious business when they held their first training session since their arrival in Shanghai last week for the 2007 World Summer Games, The Herald reported on Monday.

All the 19 athletes and their coaches on Sunday took part in basketball, table tennis and badminton matches at the Pujiang Youth Center in the Minhang.

Athletics head coach Owen Makaruwa took overall charge of the session meant to gradually introduce the mentally challenged athletes to a more intense training program for the competition starting tomorrow until October 11.
