The 2007 Special Olympics tennis athletes will train with professional coaches and players from the Shanghai tennis team and the International Tennis Federation, organizers said on Saturday.

The meet with the Shanghai tennis team will take place on Sunday and the one with the International Tennis Federation on Monday, both to be conducted at the Shanghai Qi Zhong Tennis Center, the venue for tennis competition of the Special Olympics World Summer Games.

With the goal to help bring all persons with intellectual disabilities into society, the 10-day Games will also feature activities like "Global Youth Summit" attended by both intellectually disabled and regular youths and "Global Family Forum".

Even before the Games lifted its curtain, the athletes have first taken part in the Host Town Program on the arrival in China. During the program, many athletes and their families got the chance to stay with Chinese families in 12 cities, including Shanghai, Xi'an and Dalian.
