ambia lost 2-1 to Senegal at a Beijing Olympics soccer qualifier in Dakar, Zambia Times reported on Monday.
Senegal took the lead in the 22th minute but soon lost the advantage after Zambia equalized in the 31st minute, according to the report.
Four minutes later, Senegal scored a second goal to take the win, resulting in disputes from the Zambian bench.
Peter Kaumba, coach of the Zambian national soccer team, said in Dakar that the ball was parried away before crossing the goal line.
However, the match referee overruled it though an linesman had flagged for a corn-kick, and insisted it was a good goal, according to Kaumba.
Zambia's hope of making a berth to the 2008 Olympics was further down when Ivory Coast beat Mali 2-1 on the same night and took over the group leadership.
Zambia now slips to second with seven points, two points behind Ivory Coast.
Senegal moves to five points but still remains in third place while Mali is on the bottom of the table with a point.
