Chinese women's volleyball team extended their winning streak at the Military World Games by thrusting Italy 3-0 on Tuesday.
The high-spirited Chinese spikers started off very well, playing attacking spikes and giving their counterparts very little chance to rally.
They met no challenge in the first set and cruised past it with a clear advantage of 25-7.
The second set remained in China's favor as the Chinese dished out more aggressive attacking. Though the Italians carried out some superb moves, they could not bridge the growing gap in the score to give the set 25-12.
Italy totally lost their morale in the third set when Chinese team made a super save-and-fought-back efforts, finally taking the third 25-14.
"Italians tried their best, but clearly, We are not at the same level, " said Chinese coach Shen Sanying, who already set her eyeson the trophy.
In previous matches, Chinese men's volleyball team showed their solidness and power, beating Brazil 25-24, 25-21, and 25-22.
Chinese women and men's volleyball team met little challenge in their first match of the group stage on Monday after easily beat India and the United States in the same result of 3-0 respectively.
