The 29th International Eurasia Marathon will take place in Turkey's largest city of Istanbul on Sunday, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported on Saturday.
Turks won 11 of the previous 28 races in men's category and foreigners came the first in the last 14 marathons, according to the report.
Seven Kenyans, five Ethiopians, two Brits, one Danish, one Zimbabwean and one Lithuanian men athletes were winners of previous marathons.
Turkey organizes women's marathon since 1991. Foreigners won 15of 16 races, while Serap Aktas was the first Turk who came the first in the marathon.
Five Russians, four Romanians, four Ukrainians, one Brit and one Belorussian women athletes won the previous marathons.
