Jordan's Faisali will play Syria's Majd in a Group B return leg quarter-final match of the 5th Arab Champions League (ACL) in the Syrian capital of Damascus on Tuesday.
According to The Jordan Times, last year's ACL finalists Faisali currently lead Group B after their impressive results in the first leg in which they held former ACL champs Morocco's Raja Casablanca 0-0 in an away match, defeated Majd 3-1 and tied title holders Algeria's ES Setif 1-1 in home matches.
In other group results, both Raja Casablanca and ES Setif tied Majd 1-1 and ES Setif beat Raja Casablanca 2-0.
Last year, Faisali became the first Jordanian team to reach the ACL final.
Established in 1982, the ACL was first known as the Arab Club Champions Cup. It merged with the Arab Cup Winners' Cup in 2001. Since the 2003/04 season it has been known under its current name.
