(Xinhua Photo)Mexican Guillermo Perez claimed the men's 55kg taekwondo title at the Beijing Olympics on Wednesday, beating Gabriel Yulis Mercedes from the Dominican Republic in the final by referees' judgement.
The bronze medals went to Rohullah Nikpai from Afghanistan and Chu Mu-yen from Chinese Taipei.
