President of Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Sheikh Ahmad Al Fahad Al Sabah paid tribute to Macao, noting that Macao had did a great job to host the 2007 Asian Indoor Games (AIG).

He said the Games are progressing very well, every aspect like security, transportation is excellent and the organizing committee and OCA have a wonderful cooperation.

"Everything in Macao is perfect, I see every participant have smile on their face,” said Al Fahad, "I didn't think the Indoor Games would be a big tournament, but Macao made it be."

Al Fahad said Macao's success established a good example for other cities which could not host Asian Games.

"Many cities could not host very large games like Asian Games, but they could host an Indoor Game, Macao successfully proved it." said Al Fahad.

Al Fahad said that he hoped the city of Hanoi, Vietnam will continue the success made in Macao in 2009 Asian Indoor Games.
