Chinese figure skating stars Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo will perform at the opening ceremony of the Changchun Snow Disneyland on Dec. 23, organizers said on Monday.
Zhao and Shen, who have teamed up for 14 years at world-level competition, haven't entered any international events since the 6th Asian Winter Games held in Changchun this February.
Shen once told media that the duo would stay away from competition for a while before they prepare for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.
Away from the national team though, they have been having systematic training on their own.
China's first Snow Disneyland, which costs 20 million yuan (2.72 million U.S. dollars), will take place in the Nanhu Park of Changchun, Jilin Province.
