South American Olympic volleyball qualifiers start Thursday |

Peru and Venezuela are expected to do well in an Olympic women's volleyball qualifying tournament which starts here on Thursday.
The tournament also features Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia.
Brazil will not participate because it has already earned an Olympic berth at the 2007 World Cup.
