China won its fourth gold at the 14th FINA Diving Grand Prix as world champion pair Qin Kai/Wang Feng clinched the men's 10-meter platform synchronized title here on Saturday.

Qin Kai and Wang Feng, winners of the event at the 2007 Melbourne Worlds, totaled 473.97 points after six high level dives.

Australian pair Robert Newbery and Scott Robertson trailed at 403.59 to take the silver, while the bronze went to Yahel Castillo and Luis Huerta of Mexico at 398.43.

"We performed quite well today," said Qin, winner of the event at Beijing World Cup last week with veteran Wang. "We really synchronized well."

"Our opponents were also quite in form," added Qin. "So we still need to train harder."

"Our performance today is OK," said Newbery, bronze medallist of the event in the Athens Olympic Games. "We still have to get rid of some small problems later. The Olympic Games is only half year to go, and we want to show our best performance by then."
