DPRK athletes vow to hold their No. 1 position of gold medals on the upcoming Asian Taekwondo Championship, a Korean newspaper website said Thursday.

The national team coach said the DPRK athletes were confident of holding the first place of gold medals, the Choson Sinbo, a Korean newspaper based in Japan, reported in its website.

The DPRK will send 15 athletes, among them 8 male and 7 female, to take part in the 4th Asian Taekwondo Championship which will beheld from April 2 to 6, the report said.

The DPRK is successively the NO.1 on the gold medals on 3 championships.
