The World Boxing Association (WBA) announced in a communique on Wednesday that eight Panamanian boxers are classified as the first contenders for championship fights in different categories.
The WBA with headquarters in Panama city stated in the communique that Celestino Caballero is the champion in the WBA's super bantamweight category, while Ricardo Cordoba is the fourth challenger in that category.
In bantamweight, the first challenger is Panamanian boxer Anselmo Moreno; in flyweight category Panamanian boxer Roberto Vasques is the 5th challenger, while Roinet Caballero is the 6th challenger in featherweight category and Ameth Diaz is the 10th in lightweight category, among other Panamanian boxers heading WBA's boxing lists.
