Wang Hao of Tianjin province claimed the gold of women's 10-meter platform final at the 2008 National Diving Championships here on Thursday.
Wang, 16, winner of the event at 2007 National Diving Championships and 2008 Olympic Diving Trial, overcame a frustrating first round to take the lead since the second round. Her winning mark was 447.40 points.
"I'm happy with the result", said the 16-year-old. "I was quite confident today."
Li Qi of Sichuan province took the silver at 418.80, while the bronze went to Kang Li of Tianjin province at 415.35.
"It is my first silver," said Li happily. "My difficulty degree was quite high and I performed my normal level so I got the good result."
