The Lighting Ceremony for the Beijing Olympic Games will be held one hour ahead of the schedule next Monday, city mayor George Aidonis told Xinhua late evening on Saturday.

The ceremony will be rescheduled from the previous 12:00 o'clock at noon to 11 a.m. on March 24 due to the weather problem.
