Willy Korir led a 1-2-3 finish for Kenya at the Stockholm marathon on Saturday, winning in 2:16:03.
Korir kept the lead during the last 10 kilometers of the 42.195 kilometers race after breaking away from the front group.
Bernard Mutai was second in 2:17:57 and Paul Kipkemoi Tangus was third. Two-time champion Phillip Bandawe of Zimbabwe finished fourth.
Kenya's Isabellah Andersson won the women's race in 2:34:14, about six and a half minutes ahead of Sweden's Lena Gavelin.
More than 18,000 runners from over 40 nations and regions took part in the the Stockholm marathon, an annual event since 1979. Source: Xinhua
