Pal Schmitt, President of the Hungarian Olympic Committee, said on Friday that every Hungarian Olympian who will go to Beijing has to prove minimum four negative doping tests before the Game starts.
"I hope no doping case and we will have a successful participation," Schmitt said at a press breakfast.
The Hungarian Olympic Committee burnt its fingers in Athens. "We had five doping cases and two gold medals and one silver medal were taken back," Schmitt said.
"We decided that first it shouldn't happen again in our history, second we invited cooperation in order to prevent any kind of manipulation or cheating," Schmitt said, adding, "We think we did our best."
This year the Hungarian government spent more than 300 million Forints (more than 2 million U.S. dollars) on doping control, he added.
