NZ recalls McCaw
10:30, July 30, 2008

WELLINGTON: All Blacks captain Richie McCaw was named on Tuesday in the starting lineup for the Tri-Nations test against Australia in Auckland on Saturday.

McCaw, who injured his ankle against England last month, returns to the side, which lost 34-19 to Australia last Saturday.

The selectors have named three potential scrumhalves, bringing in Piri Weepu to be bracketed with Andy Ellis and Jimmy Cowan, who both sustained injuries in Sydney.

Leon MacDonald was named at fullback with Mils Muliaina shifting to the wing in place of Anthony Tuitivake. Conrad Smith replaced Richard Kahui at center.
