Volunteers play a key role in the Olympic Games. As the President of the IOC said, volunteers are milestone of the Olympic, and the image ambassador of IOC.

The Olympic and Paralympic can ignite public's passion to participate in the voluntary service, and the voluntary service theory will be a great heritage of the Olympic, which will accumulate experience for Beijing on intellectuals, institution, and theory, Zhang said. "The 2008 Olympics will be a landmark for the development of Beijing's voluntary service."
