A ISU World Cup speed skating event will be held on Dec. 6-7 in Changchun City, capital of northeast China's Jilin Province, a sports official said Tuesday.
Xing Shuo, an official of the State General Administration of Sport, said that the event will feature six events including men's and women's 100 meters, 500 meters and 1000 meters.
Athletes from nine countries and regions will race in the event, including big names like Shani Davis of the United States and Pekka Koskela of Finland.
Host China will send 10 skaters in the race.
