The New York Yankees will roll back ticket prices to 1923 levels for the first two games to be played at their new home, the Major League Baseball team announced on Tuesday.

Fans will be able to buy bleacher seats for just 25 cents and grandstand tickets for $1.10 for exhibition games against the Chicago Cubs on April 3 and 4, matching the prices it cost to watch Babe Ruth in the original Yankee Stadium opener on April 18, 1923.

It is uncertain how many tickets will be available to the general public.

Season ticket holders will receive free tickets to both exhibition contests while partial plan holders will get the first opportunity to purchase tickets through a pre-sale plan.

Yankees fans, however, can expect no such breaks when the team opens its regular season home schedule against the Cleveland Indians on April 16 when top tickets will cost as much as $2,500.
