Sports authorities pay homage to Cabrera for his performance in the Big Leagues

The Nicaraguan League of Professional Baseball (LNBP) Friday recognized baseball player Everth Cabrera for his performance during the last season of MLB, playing for Los Padres of San Diego.
The LNBP gave Cabrera a recognition plate at the facilities of the Produccion Bank, for being an outstanding baseball player of MLB.
LNBP president Bayardo Arce said they recognized Cabrera for being a youngster who in a time played professional baseball in Nicaragua and who delighted the country with his enthusiasm and professionalism.
Arce, also economic advisor of the Nicaraguan government, congratulated Cabrera, 22, and urged him to continue placing Nicaragua in a high place at MLB.
