Bruno Senna signs deal to land in Formula One for 2010

The Brazilian pilot and runner up in the GP2 in 2008, Bruno Senna celebrated on Friday his arrival in the premier league of race cars, Formula One.

The nephew of the Formula One legend Ayrton Senna hopes to live up to his family name. Senna will make his debut with the newly formed Spanish team, Campos Meta.

"I want to thank everyone. After weeks of negotiations, we finally were able to close a deal. I am very content and want to share my happiness with the fans. It's time to put my head down and prepare for next year. There is a lot of work ahead of me," declared Senna.

After 16 years, the Senna name will officially make a return to the Formula One racing world.

Ayrton Senna, a three-time world champion of Formula One, passed away after a violent accident while racing in San Marino in1994.
