Fukushima Chisato led the Japanese team to win the women's 4x100 meters relay gold medal at the 18th Asian athletics championships here on Saturday.
Japan's second leg Fukushima, 100m gold medalist at Asian championships on Wednesday, took the lead with a powerful sprint to help the Japanese team win the race.
Their winning mark was 43.93 seconds, beating the silver medalist, Thailand, by 0.62 seconds. South Korea stood third in 45.45.
