Gustavo Kuerten's first game of the Santa Caterina Challenger will take place on Tuesday night. However, since the game will be free to the pubic, a huge turnout is expected which may turnout to be chaotic.

In Florianopolis, an event like this tournament has never taken place.

The organizers of the Challenger believe that they have prepared sufficiently. They have erected huge stands specifically for the audience that will attend the former No. 1 of the tennis world.

In order for the fans to get in, they will have to donate at least two kilos of non-perishable food.

"We will have more than 30 men on our security staff, whereas last year, we only had two men working the event's security," said organizer Enno Lopes Moriera.

The main court had a significant increase to its seating capacity. Metal roofing was installed to protect the crowd of more and 4,000 from the rain.

The seating capacity will rival the amount of available seating from the Brazil Open held in Costa do Sauipe earlier this year in the north of Brazil.

Most of those who will attend Guga's first and potential last game in Brazil will be special guests and local authorities, along with family and friends of the athlete.

"I am expecting to see lots of people tomorrow. There has been a large expectation created by the group of people coming to SantaCatarina. I have already heard that many people form many different states throughout Brazil will be in attendance tomorrow," said Kuerten after Monday's training session.
