Russia's tennis player Igor Kunitsyn won the 2008 Kremlin Cup and his first men's single title in Moscow on Sunday.
Kunitsyn beat Marat Safin 7-6 (8-6), 6-7 (4-7), 6-3 in an all-Russia men's singles final, RIA Novosti news agency reported.
Earlier on Sunday, world number one tennis player Jelena Jankovic from Serbia claimed the 2008 Kremlin Cup title after beating Russia's Vera Zvonareva 6-2, 6-4 in the final.
The tournament prize in the men's singles competition is some 1.05 million U.S. dollars while that for women's singles is 1.34 million US dollars.
The Kremlin Cup, held this year for the 19th time, was Russia's first international professional tennis tournament.
