Li Yanmei lifted the trophy of the women's long jump at the 6th Chinese City Games in Central China's Wuhan on Monday after finishing on top with a disappointing result of 6.27 meters.
The results is far from catching the Chinese youth record of 6.80m, let alone the world youth mark of 7.14m.
Li, the duo winner of women's triple jump and long jump at the 2006 University Games of China, beat Harbin's Sha Li and Fuzhou's Cai Lipiao to win the gold for Guangzhou, the capital city of South China's Guangdong Province.
Sha jumped a best result of all her attempts of 6.17m on Monday night, while Cai on 6.08m.
