China's Zhang Wenxiu took the bronze in the women's hammer throw at the Beijing Olympic Games on Aug. 20. Belarusian Aksana Miankova won gold with 76.34 metres and set a new Olympic record, Cuba's Yipsi Moreno won the silver.
