Albania coach Otto Baric has reached an agreement with the country's football association to stay in charge the national team for another two years, local media reported on Thursday.

The 75-year-old Croatian, who has just been banned from three matches for insulting a referee in a EURO qualifier with Bulgaria on October 17, has agreed in principle to lead Albania to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

"I have spoke with the country's soccer association president Armando Duka, and we have agreed to carry on with our project," said Baric, who is said to have agreed to a pay cut in order to stay on the job.
