Kenya's national soccer team, Harambee Stars, has been drawn against neighbors -- Taifa Stars of Tanzania -- as the regional soccer tourney is set to kick off next month.
According to the draw and fixtures released here late Tuesday, Kenya will face Tanzania win the opening match of this year's Confederation of Eastern and Central Football Associations (CECAFA) Senior Challenge tournament on December 8.
Apart from Tanzania, Kenya will also face Burundi and Somalia in Group A and Group B comprises of Rwanda, Uganda, Eritrea and Djibouti while champions Sudan, Ethiopia, and Zanzibar make Group C.
The draw and fixtures were announced in Dar es Salaam on Tuesday morning CECAFA general secretary Nicholas Musonye.
