Dunga blames on lack of team work, not individual

Kaka, Ronaldinho Gaucho and Robinho do not have any more responsibility just because they are the team's stars, Brazil coach Dunga said on Monday after a 1-1 draw at Peru.

"We don't only depend on three players, we have to have better movement as a team. We will only resolve our problems once we play together," said the coach of the five-time World Cup champions during their practice in Sao Paulo.

The creativity of the offensive attacks, according to the coach, cannot be limited to the inspiration of the stars. Dunga continued to state that, "every player has the liberty to be creative while Brazil has the ball. The more we practice together, the better off we will be."

However, the players at the other positions have felt a large amount of responsibility due to the lack of defense being played by the stars of the team. Mineiro, for example, warned the team about their next match.

"We cannot forget that for Sao Paulo, I played with other players at mid-field who helped out on defense and allowed me to attack more often. For the national team, it is different and I have to play more defense," said Mineiro.

Now that Dunga has diminished the personal responsibility of the main three during the eliminatory games for the 2010 World Cup, the team has had a certain dependence on one of the three: the mid-fielder Kaka. He has scored three goals, and has proved to be the best player thus far.

"Kaka is one of the best players in the Champions League and is certainly a star," Dunga said briefly while referring to the star who plays for Milan.

Brazil has another chance to relive the emotions that the victory over Ecuador brought (5 to 0) in mid October in Rio de Janeiro. Their next game is on Wednesday night at Morumbi stadium in Sao Paulo. They will face Uruguay in the forth qualifying round for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
