Sao Paulo drew Ponte Preta 0-0 in Saturday's Sao Paulo state soccer tournament.
Without creativity and a lack of offense, Sao Paulo was held goalless and might lose its top ranking on Sunday.
Ponte Preto has accumulated 13 points to keep the first position. However, should Guaratingueta beat Guarani in Sunday's match, then Guaratingueta would rise above Ponte Preta to lead the tournament.
Next Thursday Ponte Preta will host Juventus while Sao Paulo receives Sao Caetano.
