Diogo Rincon is close to being the 15th addition to the soccer club of Corinthians this year, since the player from Dynamo Kiev of Ukraine, is expected to arrive to the Corinthians via a one year loan.
The head coach of Corinthians, Mano Menezes, requested the forward/midfielder's presence and is already familiar with his style of play.
"He has already given us a verbal agreement. All Rincon needs to do is sign the contract. The loan will be for one year. We are waiting to finalize the agreement on this Sunday (17th) or Monday (18th)," affirmed on Wednesday the president of Corinthians, Andres Sanchez.
According to the contract, the team from Sao Paulo will not have to pay any fee to the Ukrainian team for brining the player to the Corinthians organization. According to Sanchez, "We will only have to pay his monthly salary."
Diogo made his debut in 1997 with the Brazilian team of International. While there, he was given his nickname of "Rincon" due to similar style of play of the Columbian forward and captain of the Corinthians 2000 championship team, Rincon.
"I want to return to Brazil. I would like to play for Inter again if I have the opportunity, however, they also need to show their interest in me," stated the player. Source:Xinhua
