Barcelona striker Ronaldinho was left off the list of the Brazilian national team who will play in London against Sweden in a soccer friendly on March 26.

Local media reported Tuesday that Brazil head coach Dunga returned to invite players of Olypmic age, just as he did in the friendly against Ireland in Dublin earlier this year.

Dunga justified the absence of Ronaldinho as an act of precaution due to the fact that the midfielder is recovering from an injury.

"He (Ronaldinho) is still recovering and getting back into game shape. In the near future, we will have two important games for the eliminatory round of the 2010 World Cup and we will need him ready for then," said Dunga.

The newest player to dress in the national team jersey will be the goalkeeper, Diego Alves.
