Schalke 04 raise to second place of Bundesliga table |

German Bundesliga soccer powerhouse Schalke 02 moved up to the second place in the league table on Saturday as they edged past Rostock 1-0 at home.
The victory has helped elevate the moral of the "Royal Blues" four days after their Champions League quarter-final first leg loss to Barcelona.
More than 61,000 fans saw Halil Altintop seal the victory for the home side in the 52nd minute, heading home a cross from Albert Streit.
The result leaves Rostock in the bottom three of the Bundesliga table and now without a win in seven.
