The Netherlands beat visitors Wales 2-0 Sunday in a friendly ahead of the Oranje contingent's campaign at the 2008 European Championships in Austria and Switzerland.
The Dutch well controlled the whole match, with the players showing good quality.
With Arjen Robben and Ruud van Nistelrooy up on the front, the Dutch attacked relentlessly against the visitors. At the 35th minute, Robben took advantage of a poor header by a Wales defender, rolling the ball expertly past exposed Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.
At the 54th minute, Real Madrid midfielder Wesley Sneijder fired a 20-meter free kick directly into the net, sealing a 2-0 victory for the hosts.
This was the third and last pre-Euro 2008 friendlies for the Dutch. In the earlier two matches, the Netherlands whipped Ukraine 3-0, but was forced to a 1-1 draw by Denmark.
