Jordan's national football team was in high spirits after a seven-minute catchup in last Saturday's qualifier with South Korea, Jordan Times quoted team officials on Friday, the day before it hosts the rival.

Jordan is expected to play South Korea at 5:30 p.m. at King Abdullah Stadium on Saturday in return leg, Group Three Asian Zone2010 World Cup qualifiers.

Jordan's lineup will miss Amer Theeb, who got his second booking last week. Mahmoud Shilbayeh is out with injury while Qusai Abu Alia, Bashar Bani Yasin and Khaled Saad have recuperated and are back to training, said the report.

Last Saturday, Jordan's second-half substitute Hassan Abdul Fattah scored twice within seven minutes to pull off an improbable draw against South Korea in front of 53,000 fans.

So far in Group Three matches, Jordan lost 1-0 to North Korea, and scored a 2-0 away win over Turkmenistan. Jordan came from 2-0 down to tie South Korea in Seoul last week. The Kingdom is third in the group ahead of hosting Turkmenistan on June 14 and travel to North Korea on June 22. South Korea beat Turkmenistan 4-0 and tied North Korea 0-0, while North Korea tied Turkmenistan 0-0. The top two teams from the group will move on to the fourth and last qualifying round.
