Spanish forward Dani Guiza told media ahead of Sunday evening's Euro 2008 final against Germany that he will propose to his girlfriend if his national team lifts the Cup.

"If I win the title with my country, we will go forwards and marry," said the Real Mallorca striker, who's now chased by several top European clubs overseas after he scored in Spain's 3-0semifinal victory over Guus Hiddink's Russia.

The Spaniards have not landed a single major international title since they beat the USSR to won the European Championship in1964 and did not reach a Euro final since 1984.

Guiza said the proposal to his long-term girlfriend Nuria Bermudez, who gave birth to Guiza's son Daniel, would come as his personal celebration if Spain was crowned.

The 27-year-old, top scorer in last season's Spanish Primera Liga with 27 goals for Real Mallorca, will have a 214,000 euros bonus to enjoy with his partner if the Spaniards win, according to UEFA's bounty system.

Similar emotional moment has been seen days ago when under-fire France coach Raymond Domenech told media to marry his long-term girlfriend following his team's exit from the tournament after the group matches.
