Portuguese soccer players Cristiano Ronaldo, Quaresma and Tonel returned to the list released by coach Carlos Queiroz to the national team, to play the next two matches of the World Cup qualifiers of South Africa 2010, local media said on Friday.
Portugal will face Sweden on Oct. 11 and later will play against Albania on Nov. 15, in the city of Braga, north of Portugal, local sports press said on Friday.
Portuguese-Brazilian player Deco is also on the list, but Ricardo Carvalho was not called.
"It is wonderful to be back to the national team. It is always a great honor to represent our country and I want to work a lot and fine in the sense to contribute for the success of the team," Ronaldo said as quoted by Soccer Portuguese Federation website.
"These are two important matches and we want to win. We have an excellent team of players and technicians, so I'm very optimistic," Ronaldo said.
In his side Quaresma said that he is proud of have been called up to the national team and he added that the team is strong and that he will give the best to achieve positive results.
"We want to give important steps to reach the highest possible at the classification group," Quaresma said.
