Ahmed Hassan and Mohamed Aboutrika snatched other two goals in the second half for the Pharaohs, the six-time African champions.

Egypt finished the second round of the qualifiers on top of Group L of African zone with 15 points, followed by Malawi with 12points, who also reached the next round as one of the best eight second-placed teams.
