Nigeria's vice president Goodluck Jonathan will embark on a four-day assessment tour of the nine designated venues for the FIFA U-17 World Cup on Friday.

This is part of the government's commitment to hosting a successful FIFA U-17 World Cup next year.

The vice president will be accompanied by the organizing committee chief organizer Sani Lulu and expected to visit southwest city of Lagos and Ogun State on Friday.
