Hoffenheim striker Chinedu Obasi was again injured and will be sidelined for another month, announced the promoted Bundesliga club on Tuesday.

"He'll be out about four weeks," club spokesman Markus Sieger told their website.

The 22-year-old Nigerian, who just returned from injury in late February after missing three games at the start of the second half of the season with a thigh muscle, tore a muscle in his right hip.

Obasi has scored six times for Hoffenheim who led the Bundesliga at the winter break but not won in five games and now share second spot with champions Bayern Munich.

The top flight newcomer has been without top striker Vedad Ibisevic, who is out for the season with a knee injury.
