Sevilla have agreed an out-of-court settlement with Tottenham Hotspur after coach Juande Ramos left them to join the English side two years ago, the Primera Liga club said on their website on Monday.

Sevilla accused Tottenham of making an illegal approach for Ramos, who quit to move to England in October 2007 despite having a contract in place to the end of the 2007-08 season. No figures have been disclosed.

Ramos was sacked by Tottenham in October 2008 and had a six-month spell at Real Madrid in the second half of last season, before being replaced by Manuel Pellegrini.
