Brazilian defender Juan has been out of the ongoing Confederations Cup with injured muscle, the team doctor told the Brazilian FA's website on Tuesday.
According to Jose Luis Runco, a scan in Johannesburg showed Juan had a minor muscle injury in his left leg which will sideline him for a week.
Juan scored the third goal in his team's 4-3 win over Egypt, missed the 3-0 victory over the United States through injury and for the same reason came off after 24 minutes of the 3-0 triumph over Italy.
