Santos beat Nautico 3-1, Cruzeiro edge Sport 3-2

Second-half substitute Neymar scored twice to help Santos beat Nautico 3-1 on Saturday.

Santos took the lead in the 29th minute when Kleber Pereira scored with a spot kick after Nautico's Michel knocked down Robsoninside the penalty box.

Entering in the second half, Neymar made it 2-0 in the 58th minute before Nautico pulled one goal back in the 67th minute through a penalty kick by Ailton.

Santos restored their two-goal advantage in the 83rd minute when Madson passed the ball to Neymar, who dribbled past Nautico goalkeeper and sent the ball into the net.

With the important victory, Santos jumped to 11th in the standings with 45 points.

Nautico stay at 18th place with 35 points and face the danger of being lowered into the second division next season.

Also on Saturday, Cruzeiro came from behind to beat Sport 3-2.

Cruzeiro, who remain among the top four teams, keep alive their hopes of qualifying for the 2010 Libertadores Cup.
