Primera Liga side Atletico Madrid were again involved in fan trouble and fined 150 euros (about 224 U.S. dollars) for an on-pitch incident earlier this month.
Spanish soccer federation (RFEF) confirmed the fine on Wednesday. During a league match against city rivals Real Madrid on Nov. 7, a small object thrown from the Atletico crowd had struck Real's coach Manuel Pellegrini.
The referee halted the game for around a minute midway through the second half after Pellegrini was hit in the face.
Pellegrini, however, played down the incident at the post-match news conference and said he was not seriously hurt.
Back in the 2005-2006 season, Atletico had been fined 3,000 euros after Sevilla goalkeeper Andres Palop was pelted with missiles, and that's not the only past case for Atletico to be fined due to the actions of fans.
